2 Beacon View Barn

Back to nature!
A true escape to the countryside in a peaceful and stunning location. It's so quiet, great chance to unwind, switch off and re charge your batteries.
A lovely spacious barn conversion with absolutely everything you could need with great attention to detail. It had all the home comforts so you could make a proper meal, like pots, pans and oven trays etc but also had local takeaway menus and information on the local pubs. We even ordered a mobile masseuse to the barn. relaxing in the hot tub looking out on green fields is something else, not a car or building in sight. Our two dogs loved all the local walks, helped by a laminated guide inside the barn, which you can take on the walk to help if needed. First rate communication from Lin on WhatsApp throughout to put our minds at rest, nothing was a bother, so helpful. We will be back in the future!

I stayed here November 17th - 19th, we were welcomed with a lovely hamper including tea, coffee, Prosecco, fresh farm eggs and lovely flowers! Lin was helpful throughout any queries we had. Beautiful log cabin with amazing views, decorated amazing and so clean. Currently booking to go back. Thank you so much.

We’ve just returned from a lovely long weekend at Maesgwyn holiday lets, the pod was great and the views were amazing! The hot tub was a great addition to have in this cold weather. We had some lovely walks and visited surrounding areas, everywhere was just beautiful!! We would definitely recommend to anyone needing a few days of peace and relaxation.

2 Beacon View Barn

We’ve just got home from a beautiful long weekend in the barn.
The barn its self is done to a very high standard with a modern but still country, homely feel. The little extras like maps for walking and the honestly box were an amazing touch. The flowers, Prosecco and dog treats on arrival were much appreciated, the pups loved them!
We had a great night sleep, amazing walks, and well needed relaxation time in the hot tub with the incredible views. It’s amazing coming from the city to see all the fields and sheep and the silence! It’s so quiet and bliss.
We had an amazing stay, and are already planning our trip back in the summer! Can’t wait to return xx

Beacon View Pod- Fern

Recently stayed a the Beacon View Pods celebrating my boyfriends birthday. We had a lovely time - he said ‘it’s one of the best things he’s ever done’. The pods are cosy and have have everything you need (including fresh eggs!). Hot tubs are idiot proof and the views from the pods are worth every penny.

The guest info pack includes everything you need to know and really helped me and my boyfriend plan our weekend! We visited Llandrindod lake park and really enjoyed the walks around the lake. They have a range of things you can do from paddling on boats around the lake to ice creams/milkshakes.

Will deffo be visiting again in the near future.

Just returned from a fantastic few days staying in Heather Pod with my dog.
It was magical! Walks on the doorstep, breath taking views and all whilst soaking it up from the hot tub. The welcome pack was very generous and much enjoyed.

We went in February so was cold but the hot tub was more then welcoming on those cold nights.

My husband, our dog and I loved every second of our stay in Fern. We wanted a peaceful, relaxing holiday to get away from our busy lives and we certainly weren’t disappointed! Beacon View Pod- Fern

We have had the best 4 night stay ever. To wake up every morning to the sheep, lambs and cows and the stunning views was just the break we needed. The pod was spotless with complimentary Prosecco, dog treats, eggs and milk as well as teas and coffee. The fresh flowers were a lovely touch and we completed the ‘circular walk’ a few times on our stay and on the morning of our departure to take in the wonderful scenery for one last time! It was the perfect escape from our busy lives and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. Would definitely recommend, thank you!

Maesgwyn Farmhouse

Had a fantastic weekend at the farmhouse for my wife's 30th birthday, there was a large group of us with young children and it accommodated perfectly for all of us, the farmhouse is so beautiful and relaxing with picturesque surroundings, and a fantastic hot tub to enjoy no matter what the weather. The only thing we wish we did was book it for longer , a big thankyou to the owners and we hope to visit again very soon

Me my mum and my dog had a well needed relaxing stay at the fern pod this weekend! The pod was spotless and so cosy on arrival! Went for a relaxing weekend away with my boyfriend and it was exactly what we were expecting, the pod had everything we needed and Lin made it feel very cosy. Loads of lovely walks to go on and the hot tub was incredible. Very quiet and even with the second pod next door we couldn’t hear a thing so no issues about privacy. Definitely 5 stars for us and we’d love to return again.

Beacon View Pod- Fern

Just returned from great stay in Fern pod. Loved the peacefulness of the area and chilling in the hot tub which was bigger than expected. The pod has everything you need and a very comfy bed! The owners are really friendly and helpful if needed. Our lab loved the walk over Beacon Hill, great views and right from the door! A lovely place to stay and recharge, highly recommended.

The best weekend. Me and my partner stayed for 2 nights and had the most relaxing weekend. The views are incredible, such a beautiful place. Property was very clean and has that home feeling. Enclosed garden for the dogs which is ideal. Did not want to leave and will definitely be returning. Lin made the whole process easy and was very accommodating. Can’t fault it..

Just got back from another stay at beacon view barn no.2. Highly recommended. Lovely welcome pack. Comfy beds. Walks on your doorstep. Clean tidy and spacious with lovely hot tub with great views. You may feel like you are driving to nowhere but it’s well worth it. We never stay anywhere the same twice but this is slowly becoming our city getaway. Came home today after a much needed weekend break in the countryside. Me, my fiance and 2 dogs rented the Beacon View Barn for 3 nights and loved every minute of it. The inside of the barn is decorated to a very high standard and the views are breathtaking. The jacuzzi was the perfect extra touch for maximum relaxation. Our dogs couldn't get enough of the garden and fresh outdoors - I think they are missing it already as we live in a city!
Will 100% be back again in the future - maybe for a Christmas!

My girlfriend and I stayed at Beacon View Pod on the 9th August and I genuinely cannot recommend it enough. It was absolutely amazing, the views were breathtaking, the cabin was immaculate and well equipped with everything needed for your stay. It was so nice at the cabin we didn’t feel the need to venture out! We can’t wait to go back and will definitely be looking at booking again soon!

Wow!! The beacon view pod was AMAZING!! Everything we wanted and more. The view is outstanding, it’s cosy, well equipped, comfortable, clean, peaceful and spacious. We absolutely fell in love with it and can not wait to return (already booked!). We ordered a shopping delivery for when we arrived, the local pub is friendly and food was good. To be honest we were so chilled and happy enjoying the pod we didn’t venture out much, instead we preferred to enjoy the soothing hot tub every day/night whilst admiring the view and breathing in pure fresh air!! It really is a little slice of heaven! Thank you Lin and James for being so accommodating, helpful and friendly we can’t wait to come back!!

Fabulous week spent at 2 Beacon View Barns, a lovely property with stunning views that just make you want to relax. The property was sparkling clean, had everything you could need for a very comfortable stay, it's dog friendly and has a very nice hot tub. We came for a nice quiet week to celebrate my partners birthday and it was perfect. We enjoyed walking locally some of the views off local high points are not to be missed and then you can stroll home to the tub. The garden is secure for the dog to wander about and ours enjoyed a sunbath (all be it in November), everything is just right for a relaxing time. There is lots to do attractions wise a short drive away if that's your thing, this truly is a stunning part of the world.

A well maintained and equipped holiday accommodation with stunning views and walks to the local villages. Not too far to some larger towns for shopping or just visiting. Also well situated to visit larger towns in England & Wales with other attractions.
The little extras of tea, coffee mils, flowers and a bottle of wine were greatly appreciated after a long journey. The hosts were also very helpful with our sons O2 medical/equipment needs and we were sorry to leave.

Just spent an amazing week with family at Maesgwyn holiday lets. This is our second visit having been in December but we love it so much we couldn’t wait to get back. Lin and James were amazing hosts and from Booking and throughout the week nothing was too much trouble.
The house itself is beautiful full of period features, cosy and spacious. Enough room that we weren’t all falling over each other! Although our aim was to switch off somewhat from the chaos of the last few months it was great to know the house had fast wi fi! The kitchen is very well equipped. The house lovely and clean.
Set in truly spectacular countryside it’s quiet and relaxing. The hot tub is amazing day or
Night! Plenty of amazing walks and cycle tracks literally outside the front door or a short drive away too!

We (2a2k+dog)have just returned from Beacon View and all I can say is we didn’t want to come home. So very peaceful, everything you need plus added gestures from Lin the owner. You do feel like where are you heading especially in the dark however the property and it’s home comforts totally makes up for it. The dog loved it and the day trip to Elan valley is a must. We don’t usually return to places but after a few nights away soaking up the hot tub I would definitely say we will be back.❤️

The Barns have everything and more so all we needed were our wellies and swimsuits!

We have just come back from a long weekend and We loved it! The house is incredible, nestled beautifully in a very isolated part of Wales. The walks with the dogs were invigorating and inspiring as we roamed around the perimeter. Returning back to a dip in the hot tub, fabulous log fire and a few drinks. If you want to unplug and just get away from it all then this is the place for you. The house is stocked with everything you need and Lin gives you the warmest welcome. I have already recommended it to several friends and will be returning in the not so distant future!

We have just returned from a long weekend in this lovely cosy house(which we were lucky enough to win!!) which is set in the Welsh hillsides. Spacious and well equipped the house made for a very comfortable stay with incredible views and a hot tub to enjoy them from. The owners were warm and friendly and had left some lovely goodies for us and our dogs on arrival. We enjoyed some lovely walks from the house with the dogs and children who loved seeing the sheep and cows so close up! Worth the 7hour drive from Scotland for sure.

We had an amazing holiday with our dog at No1 Beacon View Barn. Very tranquil and peaceful enjoying the beautiful views whilst relaxing in the hot tub. The barn is decorated to a high standard, very welcoming and treats left to welcome us and our dog when we entered the barn with tea, coffee, milk, eggs, dog treats and bubbly. The owners were very friendly, welcoming and helpful during our stay. Would definitely recommend. Our dog loved the countryside and walks he went on. Cannot fault our holiday. Thank you.

We stayed here with our young baby in July. It was so clean and the kitchen so well equipped it took away any of the stress a self catering break can sometimes create! The view from the hot tub is lovely and lots of nice walks (even suitable for us with baby) straight from the door. Would highly recommend and look forward to booking again!

Just arrived home from the most idyllic week away here. Everything is just amazingly perfect and makes for an incredibly relaxing stay. Had a lovely time, barns have been made really homely and have everything you could possibly need in the kitchen! We were welcomed by fresh cut flowers, milk in the fridge, fresh from the farm eggs, a bottle of prosecco, and a pack of dog treats for Bella our dog! The hot tub was great and relaxing! Amazing! Beautiful cottage with everything you need. Tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. Fantastic mountain views especially from the fantastic hot tub which we used in all weathers including snow!
We were snowed out and the owners rescued us, then we were snowed in and they went the extra mile to help us! Nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic people. We were super warm and cosy and enjoyed the huge television, duds and the games which were provided. Lovely welcome procecco to welcome us and farm eggs for our many omelettes!
Would recommend to everyone and hope to return soon.

One of the best getaways I've ever had! The accommodation itself is stunning from the landscaping to the interior. Very peaceful, Very cosy and a private hot tub, what more could you ask for! Perfect for a relaxing weekend!

Lovely week for 7 adults and 4 kids 3 dogs . The scenery is amazing and very remote. Well equipped cottage with lots of everything you need for larger groups. Comfy beds lots of bathrooms with showers in. Hot tub was well used during our week in all weathers from glorious sunshine to monsoon rain. Plenty of space for the dogs to run around but kept them under control as there were lambs in the surrounding fields. The only cautionary note is the limited internet download amount, we ran out twice during the week as we are all internet addicts but also due to one of the group needing to work using video conferencing but defiantly wouldn't ever knock a score down for this. We all loved the place.

We stayed here over Xmas 2017 and I have to say it was the best Xmas ever. The house is so amazing, the hot tub was so clean it was sparkling and the owners were so helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. They ended up pushing us on the country road in our van as we we got stuck in the snow. I can not recommend this place enough. I so hope we get chance to visit again. Thank you

We stayed at the beautiful Maesgwyn last week. Despite the fact that our van had broken 50 miles from our destination , we had the most loveliest of weeks. The owners of the farm, Lin and James were so lovely to us and helped us out above and beyond. They picked us all up with all of our stuff from the garage and believe me , we brought all but the kitchen sink !! They took us to the local tesco so I could stock up on food. Welsh lamb on the Sunday was a must. ( the oven cooked it to perfection )

The farm house , was the best place to stay without a vehicle , even though it is remote. The area is sublimely beautiful. The farmhouse had all the faculties we needed, so clean , comfortable , homely. The hot tub was amazing Drinking wine and looking at the view or stars was bliss whilst lazing in the tub.

We walked a lot during our stay , the views and walks were just lovely. We saw hares, several different birds, friendly dogs, horses , cows, sheep and the most magnificent bull. We didn't see many people but those we did were really friendly.

The local garage we used for the van , I would completely recommend . They repaired our van as quickly as they could. Very friendly and honest. So a massive thank you to them !

The tranquility of the farmhouse and area was a real holiday. It was good for the whole family. 4 children , 1 dog and us parents. We stayed happy and content the whole week.

So thank you Lin and James for being such a lovely family and providing a perfect retreat from the busy world.
